At this point all I need is some gun metal metallic spray and to add a few small aesthetic bits.

Still sussing out a way to fit the bipod so that itll rotate.

Picking up the internals on Sunday whoop!

I'd isn't moving believe me lol Theres a good size portion of epoxy holding it nice and strong. It'll be even better once its got the internals inside it and I can work on some way of supporting the barrel...bipod or tripod.

Internals fitted. Couldn't find any metallic gun metal spray paint so I'm going to have to keep looking, otherwise it's looking really good. Anyone know where I can get that?
Considering fitting some kind of ammunition bag with the inert rounds coming out of it which can also store the 1000rnd M14 electric mag in it.

Bipod is still on the cards but my pillar drill is bust so I'll have to wait to make that.

Will post a couple of pics maybe tomorrow.

Thanks Mark will do! It needs something to define it a bit, it just looks like a black blob at the moment, especially on photographs.

I was also thinking about using a length of flexible tubing and an autowinding mag mechanism to create a feed tube for the ammunition from an ammo bag of some sort. What do you think?

The feed tube,i use what beer barrels are piped up with, in pubs,go to your local and ask have they got a bit kicking about, inside the pipe is 7mm and outside is roughly 9.5mm,its flexi and clear, but its not the soft stuff.
And for the ammo tin use a mag with the keyhole on the side of the mag which you useally get a key with the m14,then what you do is get a low rev motor, to wind up the mag just like you do as a high cap mag,but the motor does it for you, just like the mini me mags for m249s,theres numbers of ways of doing it,i am doing one with a original 30 cal ammo tin, should hold about 2000+bb's.

Alternative for feed tube is a close coiled tension spring like this -

http://www.strutsdirect.co.uk/component ... 91d9112f17

The one above is the perfect size and can be bent into quite tight curves any way you like.

That's perfect, I will be having a look in to this in the next week or so, need to get the auto winder off my mate first. He keeps forgetting it when he comes round!

iv found this, dont know wether ill be any use to you or not but it looks pretty good

http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AC-BB-SRC-P-37.htm

its like an auto-winder magazine add on, you push it onto the bottom of the hi-cap mag and press a button and it winds the magazine.

mechanism might be of some use to you

Already got a good winder, just need the feed tube, but that's on hold at the moment because I'm starting a new term at Uni.
