Hey guys, been looking at buying a rocket launcher "bazooka" for a while. Namely the M-72 by deepfire. Now that im skirmishing in my ww2 gear. I wondered if it would be possible to take a museum quality replica M1A1 and place a moscart launcher in it?

Just me thinking out loud but if you guys think its do able..i mite just make it.

No reason why not. It wouldn't be a particularly useful weapon, to be fair, moscarts aren't the longest range or most accurate airsoft weapons, but it'd certainly look intimidating! :D

I'm currently doing the same with a replica Brit 2" mortar, again, don't know how well it's going to work, it's more a proof-of-concept thing at the moment, plus i like building odd things.

*EDIT* usual disclaimer about only using scratchbuilt/full replica's and not de-acs for legal purposes.

Yeah distance cud be an issue in the long run. For the fun/fear factor i think it would be worth it... Just have to get costs together really.

Could also try a PIAT, using the mos-cart with rubber round - Madbull M576 Rubber Baton Gas Grenade ; states a range of 30-40m, so could be fun for a roadside ambush

Oddball is working on a system for knocking out his tank, he's got a secret weapon which I'm not going to divulge but mention to him that you're thinking of building an airsoft bazooka and see what he can tell you.

sweet that would be cool.....I've seen his youtube vids about his bazooka idea. the rubber moscarts seem like a good idea too.

Do you think i cud build one myself for cheaper than buy a museum replica, and convert it. Any dimensions would be a great help

Again contact oddball.

wasn't he going the lasertag route? Which, safe as it is for his tank, it's of no interest to me as it doesn't go 'BANG' and fire anything.

Would it be possible to make a lasertag moscart cartridge?

That way you could have the best of both worlds and use it in anything that takes a moscart... or use a standard moscart instead...

:)

yeah, when i used to build 'tag guns, you could fit it pretty much into anything bigger than a matchbox, so a 40mm moscart wouldn't be a problem, it's just the lack of noise.

in sci-fi 'tag, you can get away with a gay laser noise chip, but you'd need a decent sized amp and speaker to get a good realistic 'bang' noise.

Well with a PIAT the only bang is at the target... so that'd help.. :)

a PIAT is on the cards when the 2" mortar's done, don't worry.

Though i was considering a moscart firing 2Pdr, just for fun... :D

Hi all, would it be better to use laser like oddballs and a sensor lets you know you got hit and set a pyro on the vehicle by useing a remote switch to ignite by the person driving the vehicle, that was the route i was going to do on mine, but i am still trying to figure out how to get that little boom and smoke from the bazooka when fired so its total 100% safe.

Small scale electrically detonated stage pyro is the way to go for that, there are quite a few little flashbangs with smoke that don't cost much.

I have a little evil plan that just might work, it includes loading before firing.

I won't tell, I don't wanna make hype out of it.

Btw, can you shoot people with, lets say 50 BBs at max AEG speed? (don't know whats in UK, in CRO it is 400)

That'd be hilarious...I'm interested to know whether you can do that.

Yes i was going to do that with my Bazooka but CIA didn't want any bangs from it next to a persons head :(
So gave up on that.
I also tested moscart on my tank barrel 110cm long with BB's and it was junk an AEG gets 3 times the range.

So it seems the only system allowed will be a quiet one maybe with foam batons and moscarts or a TAG system as I decided was best with a charge ignited on the target.
The problem with shop bought foam batons is they are over priced and you could spend all day looking for them to re-use.
Also if the engine was running in the tank I would not even here a foam baton hit the tank so a TAG system is the only way forward for me.

Could you rig up...some kind of AEG or spring launcher with multiple barrels? Much like a shotgun.

Does anyone know if these - GBT-MAG-40MMRH01 GB-Tech Replacement Cartridge Rubber Bullet ..........

-- attachment is not available --

........ will work with a standard bb-firing shell.

Bearing in mind what Oddball has found, I'm thinking that the above, the spare bb-firing shell that I have, coupled with a length of pipe and a cut-down funnel could equal some look-a-likey Panzerfaust fun ?!?
