When the PPS K98 first started popping up on the forums a few of us mentioned putting together a large order as a group with a supplier to see if we could get a discount. A few people at Foy also said they might be interested so I thought I'd put a thread up here to see if we can make something happen.

This is all just a pipe dream at the moment, but if you'd be interested in grabbing one, speak now. Similarly if anyone wants to suggest ideas on how to organise the logistics of this, suppliers we should approach or even why this isn't going to work, post below.

Edit: put down how many mags you'd like too, the more the merrier.

Potentially interested in this - currently have one on order from eHobbyAsia, though they are asking for UKARA details which I don't have (I have AFRA membership for my exemption) - if this falls through, then I'd be keen.

Airsoft Armoury seem to be the only UK retailer that stocks them, though none in at the mo.

I actually spoke to a gentleman who works for Airsoft armoury at Foy this weekend (who was both using and heartily recommended the PPS K98). Apparently PPs has bumped the price up from the "introductory" price and as such Airsoft Armoury isn't interested in getting any more, though if we told them we wanted a large enough number they might help us out.

It would probably be easier to put an order through via a UK based supplier rather than a far eastern one, might be wrong though, again if anyone has any thoughts on that let's hear 'em

it may be worth while adding all the spare mag's you want into the order , you will need them and it makes a more attractive proposition to the distributor as it bulk's it up a fair bit .for practicality I'd say 3-4 mag's is what you need and you only get one with the gun.

Very good point dadio! We'll need to know how many mags everyone would want as well then, first post amended.

Very interested in getting hold of one of these with 3 or 4 spare mags.

Landwarrior Would be your best bet. Scott is a top guy and easy to talk to about such things.

Alternatively, I have a trade account with eHobby.

Minor update on that, I've sent an email to Landwarrior, just waiting on a response, though, if you can get them at trade price that might yet be the way to go, provided they will accept staggered payment from several different accounts, though money is money so I don't see why they wouldn't :good:. We'll see what Landwarrior say though.

Hmm, two days, no response, anyone dealt with Landwarrior's customer service before? Is this normal?

Still nothing from Landwarrior, I'm guessing this means 'No', a pity. Anyone have any oher suggestions or are we just going to call this thing off?

Has anyone tried calling Landwarrior. I am not a believer in e-mail communication alone, if you want a deal. I am happy to give them a call, if you have a name and a number.

Alternatively shall we try the Hong Kong dealer that Dadio used?

RSOV would be my first choice ,i've had bad experiences with the place i got mine from (khmountain), having said that KHMountain would be happy to play around with price on the box to avoid Tax but i'd avoid that personally i'm just saying they would.

A sensible suggestion indeed; I'd ring them but with their opening times there is no way I can do it during the week, I'd have to do it next Saturday, so if you or anyone else can do it before then I'd be much obliged. :good:.

So far we're looking at

6 x Rifles
21 x Extra Mags

Plus 3 other possible buyers with one rifle and three extra magazines.

The contact number given is 0131 654 2452, though they don't offer a name

Thanks for agreeing to help, wish I'd decided to do that this weekend :slap:

Quick question for you. Is PPS formally Red Fire? I've seen a lot on the Red Fire Kar98 and it looks pretty good.
