Just as the title says. I've officially caught the german bug and am looking to expand my armoury (since I have some warhammer to sell ;))

Which magazines do people find are better? As the fps is adjustable, is it better to invest in co2 to keep up the fps in cold weather?

Regards,

Ralph

Cold weather really only effects gas blowback guns ,bolt action rifles just don't suffer from cool down in the same way ,even with regular gas mags your good to freezing point and even below .the real question is what's more practical to carry into the field to re charge the magazines ,the co2 gas bulbs are small and convenient to have half a dozen in your pocket but with German kit you can get a large green gas can into a gas mask tin or one of the small ones into the FJ gas mask bag .
I use the green gas magazines and use one of the small cans of gas to re fill ,so far I've never needed more in a whole day .

armoury
m1a1 Thompson,sten mk2,mp40,stg44,sterling,mk2 bren gun,lee Enfield no4 mk1,Mauser Kar98, Walther ppk,smith and Weston m10 and Mauser m712
Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

Whichever ones you get, the fps can be adjusted easily through the bolt. The C02 ones are very consistent and capable of going well over 500fps. I've also had no problems with my green gas ones. Only thing to watch is that the green gas fps will creep up on hot days.

Personally I'd go for green. Cheaper and just as good.
