It will often fire just three times before running out of gas and on a number of occasions I have noticed a cloud of gas billowing upwards when firing. It does not seem to be a problem with mags as all three of them behave the same way. On one occasion after the last splrrrt I attached the gas bottle to the mag still in the gun. Instead of filling the mag I could hear the gas escaping through the top of the pistol, so the valve must not have been closed after firing.
Is it something that I can relatively easily fix myself or should I send it back for warranty repairs?

firstly is the gas can full, if there is only a little left then it's often not got enough pressure to fill the mag's properly so you only get 3 shot's or so.the gas escaping from the top when firing is a effect of the blowback system, and not a fault.when re filling after running out of gas its best to remove the magazine because the firing cycle may not be complete causing the gas to escape immediately from the magazine.so try a full gas bottle and remove the mag to fill it, i found that mine ran best on brut sniper gas or red gas both abbey gasses.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
