Are they the same?

Is this the AGM Sten v.2?

My Stens got BSA on the side, has ASG on the box and I think it's the V2, takes a stick battary down the stock tube

Got mine from Wolf Armouries

ASG are the re branded AGM so yes it's the version 2.
The BSA is the real steel marking for 'birmingham small arms'

It's also good to note as a side; that BSA never marked their STENs with their "piled arms" logo, and especially not that particular design of their logo either which has only been around since the late '80s!

This whole "licensing" thing is a joke especially when applied to the STEN of all things, so many different manufacturers turned out parts that to apply the BSA moniker to it is ridiculous. My deac STEN Mk2 was stamped on the mag housing with "E & Co". Who they were I have no idea.
