Nice work.
The muzzle projection looks OK to me. :good:
The barrel on my SnS No.4 sticks out about 42mm in front of the sight protector.

42 mm was exactly the length of the bayonet fitting on my trenching tool as well so its a fair bet that's the right length cheers mate.
just spent the evening modifying magazines, first removeing the metal outer housing and sprung plate of the original mag's ,then reduceing the feed neck hight by 7 mm and fileing a corner of the back ,all that lets it sit higher inside the foregrip, finally adding the canvas loops that help you remove them as other people have done,i made the loops out of some old webbing straps sloopy goo'd on.its lucky that whenever ive had to modify mags they'v always been that type of plastic that super glue works so well on,probaby means its a really cheep plastic but thats fine by me .i used super glue to re-attach the top of the feed neck after removing the 7mm hight and was worried that it wasnt going to be strong enough, then i found that i needed to take another 1 mm off one after i'd glued it together ,it took so mutch effort to separate it i was worried that i'd destroy the thing in the process ,so no worries there.

i've dug this up for an update , after doing the lovely no4 recently for Chris it became clear where i'd gone wrong with this one or at least could do better so it's had a partial make over . the main area's were
1 cocking handle was way too big
2 the detail on the breech was finished in plasticard hastily before a game and never re visited
3 the cocking action was really wobbly in regard to the limiting of rotation
4 no safety (even a cosmetic non functional one)
so Chris was kind enough to allow me to use one of the spare safety catches he had supplied (he got a whole box cheap) and i've been able to take measurements from various other parts on his gun .the new cocking handle is in steel and correctly proportioned and the cocking indicator behind has been made from ally to the right size.the breech detail is much the same as on Chris's one , fabricated in steel and slides over the airsoft breech , i used the same locking pin and spring design to lock the sight up and down , the safety on mine does move but is purely cosmetic , it's all blue'd steel again .
