Ive been thinking of getting a Madbull grenade shower to use as a rifle grenade equivalent to use with my Tanaka. It fires a shower of 108BB's, only problem I can see is that the Madbull flash hider has a threaded end but I thought if I attach it to a bracket that clamps around the barrel of the Tanaka in the style of a real one should do the job.
Has anyone else tried these?
i was thinking of making something like this for my Garand the other day actually, my idea was just to make a holder for a normal grenade place it over the barrel then use the air of the blast to set off the grenade

dont know if the air blast will be enough but a bb certainly would.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......

anyone know how delicate the back end of a moscart shell is?
would a BB damage the shell in anyway

Looks like stainless steel on my S-Thunder one.
A BB wouldn't hurt the stainless, but might over time dent aluminium if it's made of that, but that would take a lot of hits to do serious damage.
The problem you'd have is the fractured BB in the muzzle area you'd need to get rid of.

I have a thought to deal with that i was thinking of having a slit in the front so the bb might roll back out of the device

The opening would also serve to vent the air blast that precedes the BB along the barrel.
What sort of fps/BB weight are we talking? I could try it tonight to see if it works.
around 330 with .2's ideally i would like to use it without a bb in prehaps im hoping the airblast would be enough to trigger it

Seen quite a few people in my time using green gas and launching small smokes with there M203' s. (Although frowned on at some sites.) Permantly filling a few holes in the shell will enable the Gas to force itself out of the rest so in essence comes out with my force. I might have to have a little play in the new year
if you want to use air pressure then maybe a plunger with "o" ring fitting into the end of the barrel and strikeing the grenade might work well enough but would have to be fitted carefully so not to damage the bore of the barrel.its probably the better idear than useing the bb as fragments of smashed bb would be a problem unless the bb hit an angled striker plate that would deflect the bb fragments down out a vent hole and the striker plate activated the grenade.

Results of my testing:
420 fps 0.2g BB distance 10-20mm - Grenade fired, BB disintegrated.
340 fps 0.2g BB distance 10-20mm - Grenade fired, BB disintegrated.
340 fps gun, no BB distance 1-2mm - Grenade didn't fire, but firing plate/primer/whatever was depressed slightly.
