I think theirs a thread somewhere where a guy converted a shotgun into a mosin nagant rifle if you can find the thread it might be useful to you.
I used the instructions from Gryphon over on the US ww2 board to make a Moisin out of a pump shottie, he also did a natty conversion of the same shottie into a PPD40 smg albeit its still pump action but if you hold the trigger in and pump it quite fast you can get a fair rate of fire. Here`s a few links.

Your going to struggle trying to make it like a normal bolt action rifle, the weak link with the Moisin conversion is the cocking mechanism link, making it any longer will make it weaker still.
I think alot of them fire Moscarts but Gunmans ones are Pyro based I think.
They use a two-stage pyro charge that isn't for public consumption. So don't bother trying that option.
Yup, and mine and Yith's both use 40mm moscarts. The CO2 powered ones will give a range of approx 20-30m indirect fire.
Well thats exactly how mine and DM's work... There's just a pin in the bottom that hits the moscart trigger button when you drop it in...
We both have cosmetic triggers on the outside.
are these in play at lightning? those earth banks would be perfect for firing over.....
DM's probably will... mine may be used for deploying smoke (DM's can't do that yet)
