Absolutely chuffed with outcome. Have left some bits purposely a bit rough as to emulate what the production quality was towards the end of the war, numbers produced was more important.
Would have had it done a lot sooner but was a bit lazy with it.

Using the P90 hop-up chamber and magazine internals it is possible to put both its magazine (BB) internals and even Li-Po accu into this large disc. In such case loading would be (as it should be) from the top, together with connecting the accu.

Hi mate, No its not fed from the disk magazine. Its built around an AK receiver and will be using the short beta AK mags. There is the possibility of using P90 hop and mag to feed the gun but that was well beyond the limits of my building capabilities.

I'm attempting to build a dp27 using scaled drawings and blueprints, but your creation will actually get done in this lifetime! Only thing I'd change is maybe moving the magazine ~10 cm forward so the rear sight/magrelease will fit 
Any photos of it fitted with the AK-magasine?
nothing at all wrong with the beta mags ,keeps it simple and it will work.

Yeah thats why i used them Gav, like we said in earlier posts you could make use of the P90 hop and mags but far too technical for me and to be honest didnt want to over engineer this one.
And Catja, good luck with your project, will get pics up when the gun gets in use as to be honest thats the time I will know whether the beta mags will look stupid or not but i can't see they will when the guns deployed. to be honest the idea for doing it this way came off the american ww2 airsoft forum but there the guy had used an M14 for the donor rifle. http://ww2aa.proboards.com/thread/6393/agm-m14-dp28
