hi all
As the g43 is finished and im waiting for some mg34 parts to turn up, i thought i would have a go at a pistol.
recently i picked up a wingun co2 revolver quite cheap as im not keen on plastic guns and this was full metal. with a few ideas going round in my head i still was not sure what to do with it, until one of my boys came up with ' why not make indy's gun'. he is a bit of an indy fan ( and admittedly i am a bit too), so after a some digging on the internet i found out that it was a s & w hand ejector 2nd model in .455 with a shortened barrel to 4" and a re-attached front sight.

so the wingun has gone from this:

to this:

The things i have done are:
made a new barrel and front sight
widened the slots on the chamber
shortened the hammer lever
modified the frame at the top (at front and rear)
also from reading reviews these co2 revolvers shoot quite hot so i have added a bolt under the hammer spring, then i will cut the spring a bit so the fps can be adjusted. not sure if these guns come with this feature as there is a slot under the hammer spring, which a m4 nut fits into nicely. the one i got might just have this missing.

i still have to make some grips and im going to put a fixed hop barrel in too as there is no hop on the wingun, but happy with it so far. and if it works out o.k then a s & w m10 or m1917 would be doable, and if i can pick up another cheap one i may have a go at a webley mk6 :good:

cheers
jay.

Yet another master piece Jay. Take a look at repairing Lugers Otto's needs fixing it only fires full auto?

Lt. Morris Schaffer: "Second rate punk," eh?
Major John Smith: Sorry. All I could think of on the spur of the moment.
Lt. Morris Schaffer: Thanks, that makes it even worse.
