I didn't know until recently, but Carly has dealt with making casts and rubber props before (when doing theatre production)

We're going to be making some Soft Rubber M3 fighting Knives, who would be interested in having 1? Can work out a price when she's had a go at making 1 and you can see quality etc.

You can already get Rubber Fairbairn-Sykes though can't you?

If somebody has a real 1 they dont mind being cast off, I'm sure we could make some of that too

Yes - interested in an M3 and F-S. Should complete the para and commando loadouts nicely.

Will they be very floppy as the blades are quite thin?
When they make rubber prop guns they put wire or plastic in them.

I would imagine they would be fairly wobberly, as thats the main reason for having them really. I'll see when i see the prototype, however from what Carly said, it should be like the soft plastic style Bayonet that you used to be able to get for the M16. I'll see whether i can paint the handles on the M3s brown or something so they dont look silly whilst in the scabbard.
