Is there anywhere to buy spare parts for Tanaka guns? My BGS hop replacement session has revealed a hopelessly cracked plastic component (part 36) that will need to be replaced.

Any ideas?

Isn't part 36 the bolt? Which is metal. :?:

Ah, the nasty hop housing.

Right. Mine came out looking like it had been dipped in liquid nitrogen and hit with a hammer. Pretty odd seeing as it's had maybe 200 rounds through it and has been skirmished twice.

I have a horrible feeling that this will be especially difficult (and eye-wateringly expensive) to replace.

It'll still do its' job. I cracked mine as well when I over tightened the front trigger guard bolt. It plays no part in stopping gas from escaping, it just holds the hop mechanism in place, so you could even superglue it. I got a replacement from WGC, part number TW-PT-98KNO65 at $34 (plus post but it's hardly what you'd call expensive) but never used it (sold it with the gun).

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

Thanks Pete. That was especially painless (providing it's still in stock) :D

If you've ever owned a Honda motorcycle, 35 beans for a small bit of plastic is considered a loss leader.
