Woah! Were is that Sterling from? I've been looking for one for ages! Can you let me know? As an aside i've got plans for an AEG Sterling (bought off the Interweb). Does anyone know anybody who can make one for me as I have just about managed to master the use of a hammer!

Cheers

In New Zealand We have strict fps rules, which means gas gun crono fine in the morning and can then be firing hot as the temperature increases.

I have thought of replacing the gears and motor of a standared AEG gearbox cylinder with a gas cylinder, or replace the spring with a gas cylinder.
My reasons are you can then build the gun more closely to scale and you should also get the consistency of a springer in terms of fps.

I have been looking on spudgun forums and they have some very good designs that would fit into the upper reciever.

Building in GBB should not be to hard

I've never really got into the idea of GBB or Ebb, seems like a waste of gas or battery to me just to have the cocking lever slide back and forth.
What? It's more authentic? Ejecting cases would be doubly so or making a noise like a gun not a train set would be more realistic for all involved not just the shooter. Who else, even at the short ranges we have in airsoft, can see the cocking handle cycle?

Must admit, i'm of the same opinion. the only real thing that would make an airsoft gun more realistic would be to have it make a realistic noise.

Has anyone seen the video of the new Inokatsu M4? It's not just a case of something moving for the sake of it on that one! The recoil and noise it produces are incredible. If only someone would develop some WW2 weapons along those lines.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

A friend and I converted a Marushin enforcer to a m1a1 carbine, by using a pnuematic cylinder to make it semi auto.

the gas is co2 either mounted in a pouch on the stock or from a back pack.

It has to be manually cocked when a new mag is inserted ( else it will dry fire the first shot), it then cocks and loads via the cylinder

It went from this

To this

The insides
