stupid question but does asg sten MK11 have a selector switch , if so where,

Yup, full auto only - no safety either!
Beware; some sites don't like them on open days skirmishes because of these two factors :evil:

cheers thought so, just kept mentioning selector switch in there fantastic manual :( , and would not fire at first and supplied with completly flat battery wich threw me.

Heh, a Sten MkII should have a selector switch. It's a push switch through the main body of the trigger mech.

But none of the airsoft ones do.

No. It SHOULD be select-fire. It's the MP40 that should be auto-only.

Yes, odd how the airsoft versions have had their fire selection abilities swapped....

I'm tempted to fit a saftey switch to my STEN, connected to the position of the faux bolt handle al la Dadio's home-made one.
