Hello.
Here is my second atempt to sten. First one was just regular mk.II. Now when am finding "old school" airsoft more enjoyable for me. I build this.
Internaly it is upgraded "my way" to reach 440fps.
Outside highly modified sten from China.
Skeleton stock is real steel modified to fit. And done some mods with fake sprin cap so stock is atached as in real sten.
Steel silencer.
Everything coated with some cheap oxide and also cheap paint.

And at the end one "push button" and one screw .
Cheap. Modular. Quiet.

Regards.
J.H.

Looks like a beaten up real steel sten! I got a real steel sten from WW2 and yours looks better than mine :D

Looks good. How about a large spring at the back of the bolt - some coiled wire wrapped round a broom handle would do.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

Very nice.
I'd be very interested to know how you did this:

Skeleton stock is real steel modified to fit. And done some mods with fake sprin cap so stock is atached as in real sten.

Well in agm sten at the back of the "pipe" there is a horiznotal bar with thread.
I removed middle part of it (as on pic below)
On the end of receiver am welding small part of metal to make lip. (see picture 5 and below)
Inside am putting spring with machined "dummy spring cap".
This pic shows how it looks, right after cutting/welding.

Regards.
