*googles*

Looks like a 98k to me. Whats the difference? shorter and more handy for the mountain trooper?

about half way down, looks like they got shorter as the war went on

With the Germans issuing Czech, Polish and other nations weapons Mauser versions, who knows what length and style a humble landser will wind up being issued.

To the tune of "Mademoiselle from Armentières"

Napoleons army ran away, As you do
The guard stood firm for Frances Pride, As you do
They said the guard will stand and die
But we heard what their Colonel cried
It wasn't pretty I tell you.

my only worry is gas. how do the tanaka k98s perform in the cold uk winters?

for modern i used to use a WE GBB SCAR and on propane that used to struggle on cold days until i switched to co2. dont want to spend the money, only for it to work poorly in the UK

The Tanaka K98 is one of the finest engineered and built gas rifles available. Don't confuse it with the WE p.o.s. Sure, performance suffers in colder weather but it's a single shot weapon, so you don't get as much drop off in power. There are upgrades to improve consistency and, with the right gas and bb combination, it can be effective year round.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
