Has anyone ever handled one of these? Release date appears to have been in July of this year.

A Tanaka springer K98 (or G33/40 - same difference*), that makes me wonder when China/HK will catch on and start cloning them at more respectable prices. Would make a lovely alternative to the existing gas versions floating around.

Its been out for quite a while, not a clone in site yet.

The site is legit although has mixed reviews.

Can buy one here also.

I think it was partly put in the shade by the pps clone of the Tanaka gas version ,combined with sub 300fps performance and a high cost it just has not caught on ,I'm sure its a beutifull gun but from my experience with converting a dboys to shell less it takes a heavy spring to get enough power from such a narrow short bolt ,from the video clip it looks like the bolt is a little longer but not such so I'd guess and looking at the clip sort of confirms it that its quite hard to cock for a low fps gun .
