Tanaka Luger P.08 ( 4 Inch ) Wood Grip Heavy Weight?

actually I have never used forane 134a people that sales airsoft gas only brings greengas (and it dont say what gas it brings on it so I asume is not forane just in case) I have actually fired a mag whit it but in a vere cloudy day in a "rain forest tipe of map" stile of maps here in the tropic but I dont whant to use it and fuxx my only gun at the moment

any one know how many psi (Pounds per Square Inch) makes forane 134a?

I have this thing to wach presure to know if the gas they sale is to strong thanks to all

Sadly, these guns DONT like anything more than 134a

I have a P08 4 Inch heavy weight and kinda tend to use it as a display/in my holster piece rather than try anything other than 134a in it.

The piece cost/part availability is to crap to justify it as a regular AS firearm. Go P38 for that lol

I do hope its not done any damage. Seems to work great. Fired about ten mags no problems. Has anyone else noticed certain bbs just wont fit in the mags?? The tanaka bbs that came with work great but my extreme 0.25 wont fit in the mag!

I think you should be using greengas on it, and I think .25 are too hevy for it

Yeah i use nothing but the recommended 0.2g 6mm bb's

I figured this was the best place to post rather than start a new topic.
I sough of fu-bared to of my mags. I had a skirmish today which went extremly well. At the end of the day one of luger mags was rattling from something inside the gas chamber which i thought was wierd so i took it apart, i 1st took apart the top half and then the lower half (i wish i did it the other way around) On doing this i noticed basicly the brass cylinder that fits into the bottom of the mag (inside reservoir) had just popped out so i put it back and screwed it all back togeather but i just cant stop the thing leaking! Its as if the valve is stuck open. Its deffinetly the upper half, i found it very difficult to get the valve back in and then the brass upper ring etc and then just screwed back up and after re-doing it like 3/4 times its still leaking!

So i though i know i will see just how it looks on another mag to make sure i put it all back togeather correctly and now i have to mags leaking. Im such a tard lol, been airsofting for 2 years but i deserve a slap

There must be a special way of putting the valve back in? as i just dont know what to do?? Otherwise i will just have to send them to be repaired.

Prob just needs a new seal, the wrong gas can blow them out, to remove the valves you need the correct tool or you risk damaging it,

I know what happened look de seal whit close inspection and you will see they have like a litle "bitte". this happens cuz they stuck whit the little holds were you put the stick to keep toggeder the bottom of the mags to de mag.

now what I sugest to do is this buy new seals and when you are going tos slide the bottom to their place aply something to lub so it slide easy don the holds dont "bitte" the seal other thing just to be shure you coul try to put something to cover the hold like a peace of plastic bag or something that you could pull out from outside, other thing is when you were pushing the the bottom to its place whit the allen keys that the luger brings push de ruber of the seal so it dont be "bitted".

here in venezuela I havent find a seal that could work on my mags so I maked the seal whit this silicon pistol that people use to make craft works and manual things I dont know how to explain it well I put the silicon and push it inside before it endures its a little tricky and takes 3 or 4 times to do it right but it dont leak anymore that way (at least iff you remmeber to allways leave som gas on de mag) iff you dont it leaks again.

PD: to see if the mags arent leaking I sumerge mags on farmaceutic alcohol (the one u use to wash cuts, wounds and stuff) you konw if theres any bubbles is leaking iff not it isnt. then dry the mag whit a towel and the rest evaporates it dont make rust on the spring off the bbs or in anny part of the mag. spect to be off some help and good luck whit the mags
