I'm after a revolver as a backup weapon, and was looking at the tanaka colt police positive, which looks vaguely like either Russky nagant that would fit my GD outfit, or as a service revolver/private purchase for my Brit commando loadout.

So far though, i've been unable to find anyone who either has it in stock, or even sells it at all.

Has anyone got any recommendations for suppliers? don't might importing it, but none of the HK suppliers i've checked carry it.

failing that, has anyone got any general revolver recommendations?

Well, this is a Nagant:

No one makes an airsoft Nagant, or even a replica one as far as i'm aware, so the colt police positive is the closest i've found, which looks like this:

As you can see, it's not the same, but it's by far the closest i've found, and when i put some wooden grips and a lanyard loop on it, will look a lot better.

Ah yes, the police positive, very nice, I prefer it over my autos, It eaven fires on low gas, unlike a GBB. I use ICS Green Gas and it is smashing. The only niggles are the ones you have pointed out, Rubber and not wooden grips, no lanyardring and slightly small mag capacity as the gas is stored in the cylinder along with the Chambers. This makes it a bit fiddely to put new gas in as well, but a brass extension is included to make it a bit easyer.

what's it like for gas leakage and how many shots can you get off before it needing a refill? i've read a couple of reviews, all positive, but neither mentioned those points?

Leakage wise, it has never happened to me yet(Touch Wood) and as for shots, You get a good few mag fills, i just Top it up at the end of any games I use it in and it has never run out of gas on me yet in game. You have to be conservetive with the rounds tho, their is verry little chance to re-load in agme, and it only has about 15 round capacity.
