Here's a question for the technically-proficient amongst you: would it be possible to use the internals of the new MP44 to build a G43? I know that the problem in the past with trying to create a G43 has been the width of the internals leaving too narrow a margin in the wooden stock. It's early days yet, but if the MP44 internals prove to be reliable....
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
The MP44 internals are basically just M16 innards so are the wrong shape. The motor is in the pistol grip which the G43 lacks so makes it impossible to use. I thought the biggest issue with building a G43 was the mis-match of the magazine position compared to the M14, not the gearbox width?

it can be done with the m14 gearbox..... and there two ways to go: one is the highly risky strategy of hollowing out your expensive g43 stock - the other is to make a custom motor mount so that you can mount a trigger system about halfway down, Ive gone for the risky strategy of hollowing out the stock.... Someone else is using a G&G m14 gearbox modified to sit in an original receiver.... either way its a shedload of work, although having solved most of the probs my prototype is nearly ready only a couple more months....
