Hi all,
My Marushin M1 Garand currently is shooting 20 ft with the hopup on. No matter what BB weight I use, or amount of hopup, it shoots roughly the same distance (at max 30ft.) I am thinking I am a victim of a torn or otherwise worn out hopup rubber. Am I correct? When I turn the hopup all the way up, the BBs still get jammed in the hopup chamber. This tells me that pressure is still being exerted on the rubber. Also, the power seems to be good, it's just that I can't get the thing to shoot far at all without lobbing it. Is a messed-up hopup rubber the culprit?
Sorry if this is a simple question, I just don't know much about hop ups in general.
Best way to tell is to pull it apart and inspect it ,it's all guess work up till then .

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
