Hi Guys,

After having allsorts of problems with my VFC BAR it is finally now fixed, and murders out every last bb out of the 190 round "hi-cap" in an almost constant stream, at range and good grouping.

When I first got the gun, the BBs just fell out of the end of the barrel, and after Dave at Airsoft Skirmish replaced the hop rubber (because it was frayed beyond recognition) it still was a bit pants. After the Doughboys training day, when the bbs were taking branches off the tops of the trees and kicking up off the deck infront of my feet symultaneously, Dave replaced the rather poorly machined inner barrel with a Madbull tightened (and longer) barrel. This made it perform perfectly and now I am very happy with it.

Worth a look at if you 'had' too much money like me to buy 1, or whether you have 1 and it does not work as well as you'd expect for 8/10ths of a G, or whether you are thinking about getting 1 in the future.

W

Surely you should have 20-round lo-caps with that, mate? :P

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

Heard some real mixed reports about the VFC and decided not to buy one. Apparently the hop rubbers all need changing as a minimum and the lovely exterior doesn't match the interior.

Shame because the looks the nuts.

A very honest review there Matt....do you want me to delete this thread before you put the BAR up on the sales threads?
