And it's a good thing that it does swivel. If it didn't then it wouldn't pack so nicely in a hard gun case.

It's not too bad, if they work!

They do look lovely in those pics and all-steel construction does help somewhat, as does the swivelling magwell.

Of course they'll need a downgrade before use.

The lipo battery is a concern if the charger won't work over here. Also, replacements if the battery dies, which can happen with lipos. I suppose if all else fails someone could make an after market larger diameter T-stock to put a standard stick battery in?

How long before they will be available?

Having plenty of mags for them on the market already is also a big bonus.

I'd be up for one, but I'll need to check with Evo first as he is supposed to be making me one.

It looks very nice, could even tempt me into getting Brit kit. I don't think £350 would be too great a price if it turns out as nice as it appears. I wonder if it could still work with the mag in the vertical position like an MP3008? I'd guess not but you never know.

...... like wise........ this could really kickstart the brit end of things.... just need to bring the fps down a little.... for when I invariably get shot in the face from close range :D

Not if its like a proper sten it won't... You cover up both the holes in the receiver for the rounds to go in and out.

Basically it acts like a dust cover over the chamber.

id have one of these,

put a c ouple o thousand rounds through it and the fps will drop anyway, just sit i the garden playing for a few thousand till it settles down

my agm mp 40 was 330 out of the box, after a few thousand rounds its steady at 260 to 280 fps

For Sale

1 left testicle (used), funds needed to buy a Sten MkII

Looking good there jamie.

Though it looks a bugger to put the battery in compared with some guns... Having a hex bolt to undo. Heh... In the real one the stock is just held in place by the main spring.

I really must get a site registration sorted, it's just not right me in a Wiltshire Regiment uniform carrying an M1A1 Thompson. Still it's sounding a tad pricey to me at the moment but then again I have just had to do loads of work to the house including a new kitchen plus my wedding is at the end of next month! That could be why I'm a little touchy about money.

Guys sorry to be the voice of doom, it more than likley won't see the light of day. Viva are notorious for designing funky kit and then never releasing it. 2006, full metal AK's, then the MG34 and ZF41 sight, and now this. Doubtless, some will get one but it will not go on general release. See the post in MG34 bit. Some of the regulars said the same on Arnies and I was convinced it was sour grapes. sadly they were right and I was very wrong. Fingers crosssed, I'm wrong again. :(

Well this time at least there's a video of the gun in action. The MG34 never got that far.

Spoke to Jamie - he's looking to bring a few in for friends only and I can't see anything about other stockists. Anyone know when these guns are supposed to be released? The usualy stores who get early stocks have no news (like Gunners) and given that there's no sign of the MG34... believe it when I see one in my hands. :(
