Go on... how did you attach that. I have one which is dying to go on mine. At the moment it's on my blank firer.
The reinactors on here will shoot me at dawn for what I have done!
Cut the plate off the real stock and the viva stock, grind surfaces and weld the skeleton stock onto the viva mounting plate. you won't be able to use it on your blank firer once you take the plunge, but it does shoulder much better!
"Major Bernard Himmler, does the name mean anything to you?"
Ah... right. I'm not doing that. I do have a plan that will allow me to use the stock on either gun and still allow the use of the T-stock as well. I just need to get round to it.
BTW, the skeleton stock may well be a cheap repro, mine is. £25 from platoon.

"Platoon" ?
Yup. A shop in Bury...
I know where to get tasty skeleton stocks for £10-20 from memory...
If anyones at W+P I'll point you in the direction to see if he has any.
I'll be at Beltring, was thinking about a replacement stock for my STEN - I like the T-Stock, but the skele version is nice also.
the skeleton stock is 2 inches longer and although I'm only 5'9" the viva stock seemed far too short and just not iconic enough for me. The viva stock is too short having looked at MkII blueprints, the stock should be 11" long not 9 1/2".
that was a real steel stock I butchered, sorry.

I quite agree, I'm sure the Viva T-stocks are shorter than real-steel - perhaps for the smaller physical geometry of the typical Japanese body?
I must admit though, the T-stocks are far more iconic looking, to my eyes, than the skeleton/loop stock

I just want to be able to have the choice... so I can match what I find in pics.
For instance on the pegasus archive all the glider troops training in North Africa have skeleton stocks on their stens...
