hi can anybody help please i have a WE luger and think the gas
is leaking i can only get 1or 1.5 mags per fill
and gas seems to vent from top of gun.
1, can mag be fixed
2, is tanaka mag compatible with WE luger
3, WE sometimes double feeds
4, how do you know when gas in mag is full
dosnt overflow.
has anybody else had similar problems
PLEASE help please pm me.
in advance
many thanks
without personal experience of we lugers i would suggest that as the mag is quite small and thin 1.5 mags may be all the gas that it can take,my ppks has tiny mags and only has enough gas for one load, whereas my glock with big mags can get 3 loads etc...
i know what you mean about the valve not overflowing when full ,this is due to the design of valve and replacing the valves with ksc/kwa ones is what i did to my mouser so i could fill them completely every time,if they dont vent then once the pressure is equal between gas can and mag then no more gas goes in regardless of how full it is.
cant help with the other issues.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.

Do you mean that you get 1 to 1.5 full mags off before re filling?
If you do you are doing well. My one on a warm day will do the full mag when slightly colder 4 or 5 shots if you are lucky then the mag vents itself.
You can check the mag for leaks by filling it with gas and placing it under water. Bubbles=leaks. Easy fix if the leak is from the bottom of the mag.
One of my WE 1911 mags started leaking gas audibly, so I stripped it down and wrapped everything in PTFE tape and now it works fine. I was a bit reluctant to mess with it because I'm far from the most technically adept of people, but it was actually really easy. I don't know how similar the Luger mags are, but in the 1911 ones there are only two places it can go wrong - the filler nozzle on the bottom and the port on the top.
As for filling them - I only ever get about 90% of a clip from the gas in my 1911 and its impossible to tell when its full. I've also got a KWA glock and that's so much easier to deal with because that vents excess gas when its full up.
thanks to everyone fot there advice
i may not hsve a problem then it seems
its normal. design fault
