i just recived my 1911
wat type of gas should i use? (i notice some website says it handles green gas for winter)

WE's should be able to take any gas. In fact Green may be required to get the heavy slide to cycle properly.
As for bbs... the same as in your AEGs. i.e. 6mm .20g ones.

I use 0.25s in mine and use 134a sometimes but I also use propane if the mags will take it, it's a lot stronger and some mags like my socom don't like it, and they leak

Mags take green gas fine.
Mine 'exploded' last game 
Metal part sheared and sent spring off in to the distance. Never heard of others doing this so I may be the rare unlucky one 
Other than that I do rate them as a good pistol.
