Hi all,
I am looking to get an M14 as a look-a-like for a garand or g43 and would like your opinion on the different makes
Either G&G (I like the look of the walnut wood stock version)
The Classic army match or is the cyma a good enough cheap version
Many thanks

the agm gearboxes are good (and tm compatible)ive used them on projects but i believe a lot of the other metal parts are verry weak.the g+g has a unique gearbox i believe so less easy to get parts for.if you can afford it i'd go for the classic army.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......

I'm not sure but I think the G&G magazines are different from the AGM & TM ones, If I'm right you can only use G&G mags in a G&G M14
If you're looking to convert the m14 to a garand, you can only use the TM or TM compatible M14s like Cyma. You won't be able to get a flush mag for the G&G and CA. But if you're going to keep it as is, the G&G and CA are more rugged and durable than the TM and it's clones.
Thanks fo all your replies

after doing 46 M14 to M1 convertions,
i,d say TM or CYMA are the two best M14
CYMA for value for money and performance
TM for performance and outer finish,
team shoot and scoot, TL
