It could have been modified anytime from the wars end to Vietnam? The '45 dated carbine pouches make it very unlikely that it saw WW2 action.

Nice example of a blanched sten bandolier. Hmmm, this can't be blanching as in growing asparagus/celery as this makes them whiter. Perhaps it is blanc...

The guys with Stens in that photo are Airborne I think. They look like Mk.V and airborne helmets. Nice example of a blanched sten bandolier.

They almost certainly were blancoed examples during the war. The unblancoed examples probably came from drop canisters.
