Well, it's official, that dipshit alex has let us down, well and truly, as this was the last working day before Boryszyn for our order to turn up. I've posted as far and wide as I can about his terrible business practice, even going so far as to email Soviet reenacting groups. I'm not a good bloke to piss off! I'm hoping that we'll cost him in business what he's cost us in inconvenience.

I do feel for you guys because of this. BUT... you will prevail. There will be a lot of kit lending and good will on behalf of the regulars and new guys - well done to you all. You will make it work.

Oh yes, I have so much spare kit packed it's silly... and I know others are bringing spare stuff as well. We may not be perfect, but we'll be okay.

Yup, i've sent all my russian kit via Yith as an aid parcel.

Which is actually mildly annoying, as my previously busy weekend is now free, and there was a place for sale, so i could have gone after all... :slap:

Enjoy!

Rich, seeing as the event has come and gone and, if everyone else who ordered is in agreement, can you enquire at your bank about getting a refund? Or tell that moron alex that we want our money back. I really don't want him to have my money and I'd rather spend it elsewhere frankly, even if it costs more.

I'll go along with that.

Of course I'd rather have the stuff I ordered, but cash back is fine if that's all that can be managed.

Not too keen on ordering outside the EU now! Unless the vendor took paypal, I wouldn't touch them with a 50 foot stick.

Edit - In my ongoing campaign to expose this crook, I emailed him from my wifes' yahoo account, enquiring about an order. He replied within 24 hours. His reply is well, erm, interesting!

we confirm the possibility to produce 10 sets of 16F in any size you may need. We have all necessary fabric and elements.

The production and shipping will take about a month.

The words "lying bastard" spring to mind.

A few people over on the red alliance forums who have been waiting a while for orders for a while have recently got their kit, so there is still some hope. I will inquire as to what follow up, if any, we have with the bank however. I'll try contacting alex again too but I don't hold out much hope of a response.

I think you'd find your options a bit limited with sticking within the EU. You're right be wary of purchesing from anywhere that doesn't allow you any kind of buyer protection though.

My "reply" to his quote....

Hello Alex,

Thankyou for the reply and prices. I will let my group know immediately. Some of them are concerned to order from you because they have seen on forums that some people are still waiting, over 3 months after ordering . Can you please let me know if this is true? We are doing a very large display at a reenactor show soon and we cannot afford to be let down.

Again, he replied withn 24 hours with this....

the orders under discussion on forums were all 100% requiring production. We have NO unfulfilled orders in fact. We have the lowest prices possible. The amount we ask for the set is the average sum for a blank single gimnasterka elsewhere!

Moreover, sometimes the forum threads are born by other military stores... We are in the uniforms business for 17 years, we have a pretty large list of constant customers and thousands types of items in stock. We cannot afford cheating...

We have a possible way out. We may offer you a payment split. First your group pays a half of the amount necessary, we produce all the uniforms, film it for your group and email you the images of the uniforms ready. Then we pack it, wait for the remaining amount and send the goods immediately. As a result we will send you the scanned postal receipt.

I just keep getting more and more pissed off with this guy.

I've done it! Told him that he's an out and out liar and that there's at least 2 big orders outstanding that I know of and that I'd rather burn my money than give it him (which is the same thing anyway!). I'm not expecting a quick reply to that!

We he's never not sent an order, just takes him a lot longer to get up off his ass and do something about it!

:slap: :banghead: I've sent the twat several dozen emails over the last few weeks. I think I'll pay him a "visit" when I go to see my Uncle in the Czech Republic later this year and discuss his attitude to customer care :box: .
