What is the weight of a human head?

Than will depend on which human and whether it is wearing a tin hat or stahlhelm. Berets will make the head considerably lighter which can be a bonus, especially if you have bloaty head.

... but what are the ammo limits, mag capacities etc?

You can use any capacity mags you possess, no need to purchase kit. Ammo is restricted, as always of course. Actual allocations will be dynamic. That is to say, they will vary across the day according to supply conditions. MG owners on the German side will probably never have had the opportunity to burn ammo in a WW2 game and should bring a good stock of BBs. For them there will be operation, team and supply rules to give some realism so it most definitely won't be a case of keeping a finger on the trigger.

But much, much more important is a sense of self preservation. You don't want to be injured and you don't want to die. This is a big site and you won't be trotting backwards and forwards to regens to 'keep you in the game'. Actions have to planned, then executed - no reckless blasting at the enemy secure in the knowledge that you will be blatting again in 30 seconds after a quick regen.

Non-game (as such) related, but is anyone planning on bringing a chrono?

I've just picked up a Tanaka K98, and I'd like to know what level it's shooting at, having managed to destroy my old chrono by shooting it once too often. :slap:

Ta! :D

I'm bringing the MP40 just in case, this is as much for reference as anything else.

Depending slightly on the whim on hm customs I may have a PPS Kar98 to set the fps on. Could somebody lend me a chrono for a few minutes while I fiddle with it (oh-er etc...)

Ah, this is an interesting point. The site is VERY thickly wooded. 500fps will be next to useless. We recommend dialling down to 350fps for maximum utility.

Would it be possible for me to stash some water at a strategic location on route ? (supply dump) on Friday night , i can bring a 5 gallon water carrier so all can share it and once the allies reach it they can use it too (providing we don't poison it  ) ,in this weather even if it rains i find i can never carry enough.

armoury
m1a1 Thompson,sten mk2,mp40,stg44,sterling,mk2 bren gun,lee Enfield no4 mk1,Mauser Kar98, Walther ppk,smith and Weston m10 and Mauser m712
Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all

There is one suitable location, a bit of a trek to carry 5 gallons but doable. :good:

Just a quick question, where actually is the safe zone? I mean do we have to drive through grafton park woods, or is it before there?

I'm going off google satellite here. :?

Safe zone is in the middle if the woods. There's a road into the centre of the wood from the gate.

Aha yes I see it!

Because knowing my luck I'd end up in completely the wrong direction.
