Booking will run until the end of June when we will make a decision on whether this is a goer or not. To make this work we need 30 players (not least out of consideration to our hosts, Close Action). It is a fair size site and we want to make the most of it. We are looking promising on the British side but the Germans are decidedly light - need 15 to make a decent garrison. Thank you to those who have kindly offered to swap sides but a) we'd prefer you played first choice and b) as things stand it wouldn't make a difference to viability.
So anyway, end of June chaps, it will be here before you know it!
Any chance it will be prolonged if theres just a few needed?
No, no point flogging a dead horse if we don't get the numbers - everyone needs to know where they stand. At least then Close Action can make use of the site for their own games and those that have booked time off can make alternative arrangements.
OK fair enough, I'll cross my fingers, we've got to have a d-day based game this year of all years!
Wont be able to attend myself not being in the country that weekend but have made the guys who have booked onto the 900 days game that are not members of the forum aware of it so hopefully they will like to attend. Hope it helps and be a shame if anything else this year went down.
Just 8 more days to cut off date, come on chaps lets have a few more bookings, dont wan't too see another bite the dust
Thinking the same! This is going to be a great game, come on fellas
Has the game been saved?

It has indeed, more info incoming...

Yes, we think so.
We're having to adapt the scenario to cater for smaller numbers, so expect a couple of changes that may mean some of you aren't necessarily wearing the same uniform all day.
If those of you who need to pay the balance of your deposits (£20) can do so, that would be great.

Pity, No 3 Commando were most particular about using unblancoed kit.
* kidding * Although it is a trend also followed by many to today's reenacting groups, especially in the USA.
