I just wanted to say thanks for the players coming to a Rifles only game. Big welcome for the lads from Cornwall who travelled good to meet new faces here.
Putting on Rifles only event is a bit risky due to the chicken and egg scenario of No rifles games then I don`t buy a rifle etc. Thanks Jimbo and crew for staging.
What a great day and even the weather held off until last knockings. For anyone who hasn`t played a rifles only game give it a go. You don`t need a Uber expensive K98 I think for £80 from Tiawan Guns VSR and a piece of hessian will do the trick.
The dynamics of the event is so different than you have probably experienced before. The MG42 team when it got into position was a game changer keeping heads down allowing Riflemen to move up. Does this sound at all real life? Well Yes actually. I was constantly pushing my troops forward from tree to tree to gain ground and once they had taken that on board we really made progress against those Plucky Brits who were falling back all the way to Dunkirk. We moved at times so fast forward I came around a tree to take cover and there was a Brit on the other side!. Loud screams and Brit and German was seen running for cover in opposite directions.
Bring on the next rifles Game
Brilliant day, thanks Jimbo and crew for staging the event, I would love to do another rifles game. Great game play, you can actually fire and manoeuvre, although after our first victorious attack we Brits were mostly giving our lives so the chaps at Dunkerque could escape. Thanks to everyone who came along and took part.
Thanks for having us. We really enjoyed playing the rifles game and will sure play another one with you guys. Hats off to all for a good day (and also a bonus being lucky with the weather bein mild with just a bit of rain at the end).

It was a pleasure to travel up for this event. Thank you to the organisers and players for the opportunity to try this very different type of airsoft.
I will be looking forward to the next rifles game.

Really good game! Big thank you to organisers & all that participated. As mentioned above, after adjusting to the reduced firepower a lot of tactical gameplay made the whole experience very realistic, allies retreating as a unit to take up new defensive positions, germans taking calculated manoeuvers to push through, all great fun!
Would definitely attend a rifles only game again, and for all others than dont have a rifle yet - £70 for a cyma m1 carbine and your sorted
"We are too weak to defend, therefore we must attack" Marshal Pilsudski
Can only repeat the already made statements. Rifles only changed the game. At first we (Germans) struggled but with every new attack we became better at it as everyone realised that group work and aggressive movement paid off.
In one attack I had emptied my magazine and I saw a Brit killing a number of us with flanking fire. I got up and charged zick zacking. He could not pick me off and I ended up bayonetting him. ...unfortunately had to surrender then as another Brit pointed his gun at me point blank.
Thanks to Jimbo and the crew for putting the game up. I hope t see another rifles only game soon.
I too can only follow what has been said, very good game with a different slant on it, the rifle made for prolonged attacks, more time to pick targets, even the rain didn't distract...........and that was the first airsoft game, that I've ever been bayoneted!

Thoroughly enjoyed the game. As mentioned the gameplay was great, much more tactical play than usual which showed the importance of having good squad leaders. Nice to see some new faces, fair play to the Cornwall crew coming up to Sussex. Sounds like they enjoyed themselves. Look forward to the next one.
I've been to every rifles game I can and it's by far my favourite type of game ! Every shot has to be aimed and manouver is more fluid and it all feels more authentic especially the fear of a support weapon or calling up your own support weapon , it just all feels right .
A big thanks to Jimbo and team for a great day and a good game plan , it's not the largest site and it takes a bit of planning to make a day that uses the site so well , the site was quite a good range of dug outs and building complexes in mixed open and quite dense woodland that varied play nicely as each battle had a slightly different flavour , well done and thank you again.
As mentioned above a wood effect clone VSR and some sack cloth is all you need , it's about the game not the gun ! Other than before and after the game I don't remember looking closely at anybody's rifle !

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
