Try and get 'theirs is the glory' on DVD as well

thats about as close to watching the battle as you can get

Just watched it - very good. My mum's uncle fought there - he never talked about it.

er... not much...

The way to look at it is... "which of my modern guns would fit WW2 best"... not, "how can I shoehorn my uber-leet full-auto pistol into the Comrades in Arms rules."

Go with the spirit of the game, don't bend the rules.

If you really have to use it... then dress it up in some way to make it look a lot like an MP40.

OR buy a MP40. They are so cheap, every family should have one.

Yup I went and got myself... er 5 :D (using them initially for props for a drama production but will sell on afterwards). Should be able to sell them on in time for the game (its an easter production) so PM if you want one.

oh and Yith can you add MP40 to my loadout :)

No longer involved in airsoft.

Can you change our guns please.

Thanks to the taxman we shall now be packing a bren gun instead of one of the M14s.

There's something you won't hear too often.

No problem, we only ask for gun choice to make sure the firepower is reasonably balanced . No good if all the Germans are on Kar 98s and all the Brits on Tompsons

UK players please look in Allied Private chat at force designation and let me know if you're unhappy about anything major.

1 more for the Axis side

I'll be wearing a natty little coordinated outfit in Oak A (must ditch that awful pink piping on the shoulder boards though!) and carrying that essential accessory for this season an MP40

Probably also bringing a broomhandle mauser and an M14 or Garand(just as a spare in case I have any probs with the MP40)

May or may not have some HG division insignia fitted (depending on how lazy I am) but in any event will be fitted out as an enlisted man so stick me whereever is appropriate.

Cheers

Andy
