Yeah... if we think someone is "bending the rules" for anything we'll have a word.

A lot of this means you should try and "roleplay" the event...

As much as you like, they all speak English, they can pretend not to speak German though....

Furthermore the resistance will have the same general objective (i.e. destroy German forces) but may have their own Agendas as well.

Will "Im sorry sir but if you would like to find the brigade liasion officer" be aceptable?

After all we did view the cloggies with some suspician in the first few days.

Incidentally is anybody going as 3 Troop(Dutch), No 10(IA) Commando?

I have a sort of mixed question;

In Guernsey (Battletec) several of us have taken to using those retractable toy knives in games. I'm sure you know the sort, it has a soft plastic 'blade' that retracts into the handle on a spring and appears to stab into things. They cost about 50p.

1) Would these be an acceptable kill?
2) Would I still be able to carry one while not armbanded?

1) Yes, as long as the blade is completely soft and bends. This will need to be checked with Phoenix staff before the game
2) Yes, but you won't be able to use it until you have an armband on.

Perfectly reasonable (apparently those jerries don't like it up em).

Go ahead and laugh, Fritz. It will be all the sweeter when you're knifed. ;)
