I've started work on the maps...
First my base map. I'm deriving all other maps from this one:

Next are the maps for the marshalls in the morning and afternoon. These basically have regens marked so far, but also could have supply drop locations.
I also need to do maps for the Allies, DRWs and Axis teams. Each player will need one each for the whole day and then one big one for the commanders to brief from. Some will have various information added/removed.
What I do need is these to be checked... especially against the maps that Gadge has in his house from the meetings. I really need to know the names of the roads (in dutch) so I can mark them on the maps.
Dave, can you mark the areas that are out-of-bounds on those maps outside the buildings... we don't want players running through the car boot or car park!
Well, they won't play in the carpark and the carboot area is in play in the afternoon. Not been a problem up to now, marshals, us or other players can watch out for extreem flankers. In my experience no-one can be arsed to look at maps anyway (or even be able to read them)!

meh... I'll leave as is then.
Okay... had a rethink.
I've now done a new master map...
This will have stuff removed from it for maps for players (etc).
I still want to add the road names on... Dave/Gadge can you remind me of the names please?
You'll see I've also added locations for the objective markers. I have 10 of these from Dave. Number 10 will be used to demo what they are at the Parade and then I'll place it before we deploy.
I've also marked potential supply drop locations. We'll need to liase with the marshalls on the placement of these.
In addition some locations are marked as having a Radio at them. This is the position that one of the CD-Players will go playing Dutch broadcasts.
Dave, when I'm done I'll need you to do colour copies for the Marshalls and us and also the big versions. I'll get B&W versions done for the players at work or something.
Marktstraat
Westervoortsedjik
Nijmeegseweg
Grote Markt
I'm afraid I can't remember which the roads are except that the Grote Markt one went in the enclosed open area south of supply drop 5.
Guy's cd player was be in the church tower with battle atmos. track.
Strikes me that the Fishmonger 'L' is too far from the bulk of the action - suggest putting him in the small building between the embassy and C.

We now have two chalkboards now and some chalk . Gold is on the way (paint drying as we speak) . Sound system being constructed this weekend . AM I also down for doing some orange armabands ,and is there anything else I shjould be making .

Thanks Dave... much appreciated!

Yup... ![]()

Not sure about the position... I didn't want to clump the bridge objective buildings too close together. I also wanted to bring the Tech block building into the game a bit...
But it is rather close to the car park, so I'm open to being swayed here...
Dave should be doing the orange armbands.
Guy is doing the orange armbands.
Moving the fishmonger will mean that Myro will at least be able to occupy the building and speak to his comrades - he won't hang around where it is at the moment - it will just be a waste of a sign! Plus it will be a parade of shops.
On another point - are the Germans to have two medic bags, I can't remember?

Your points have merit
I was thinking from a scenario point though...
Gadge? Your thoughts?
Germans have 1 medic bag, like the brits.
Will peruse properly Sunday guys, ive just got in fomr a DJing job last night (got stuck in hinkley cos of the fog) and i've another tonight so need to freshen up. ![]()

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Right had a good look at it now, cant see any problems, i take it well give each factions ncos faction specific maps?

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Everyone will have a map...
I'll probably give NCOs and officers colour and/or laminated ones...
(Dave, my printer is working fine with these maps... it just didn't like the big red bit on the flags)
Ok
The road running past the train yard is maarkstratt
The road to the old 'bridge rmap' near the germsn regen is lisstervoort and the gagrag is behond this road
other than that all seems in order

Hmm he is a bit isolated, but that could be agood thing, not sure...

Ask yourself the question - this is an airsoft game. You hear and see everyone else fighting in the distance. Are you going to hang around your shop on your own just for a bit of roleplay?

Agreed , move him in a bit.
