Okay... Oddball is booking in... With Jeep!

Unfortunately he's trying to book in as US...

er... what do we do?

If he's bringing the jeep I don't want to piss him off... but I also don't want to piss off anyone else by allowing a Yank in!

Argh... I guess I'll have to just remind him its brits only.

We can stretch to SOE/OSS in us kit at a pinch, i think the jeep would be ace for airborne recce but we'd really need him to get in to the event or id t rather do without to be honest.

We cant say 'no US... unless you're useful...'

Its just not cricket really...

Is it just me or does anyone else want to tell Diggah to feck off at the moment ?. I don't know him personally (and apologies if he's a mate) but he was a total plonker over even getting the date of the bulge right and then not showing. now we've got all this crap over being a Russian coz he's sold all his other gear . I know he runs the UKASC side but the blokes a fucktard IMHO .

Somewhat harsh perhaps. I played at Fireball with him and he is a very nice bloke. Like all of us though he does have a weird side! He has difficulty with transport and now his redundancy is clearly causing problems. I suspect this is leading him to say 'I'll do it' when in reality he should say 'Sorry, impossible, wish I could though.' (He messed me about when he said he was coming up to the Midlands for a weekend too.)

He did say he was setting up a WW2 site and that didn't happen and he was talking about organising a WW2 game himself but I doubt that too.

Cut him a bit of slack - he is an intelligent and talented guy but has a few issues, that's all.

Ok , I'll withdraw the previous harsh comments  , I read what Gadge posted back to him and took umbrance at being accused of not being inclusive & of being stich nazis, since I reckon we've gone a long way to making these events open without compromising them .

to be honest we could say he could come in a bikini, I'd still lay

No IMHO , lots of people are out there buying the kit, why's Diggah any different ? Turn up in the right kit , or not . Simple really :D .

If I was Barrie and Anne or some of the others forking out my cash to buy the correct gear I might think "why's he getting a free ride, why can't I be an escaped GI , or a UK Soldier thrown back through time with my SA80" .

I'm sorry he's a bit strapped for cash , but not my fault, don't feel we owe him any favours .

PS I find his posts on this a wind up , WTF is "OMMMMMMMMMM" about FFS ?

Gadge... we really need to sit down and work out how this jeep is going to be used throughout the day. Oddball is now bringing a friend (deposit has been paid), but he's new to airsoft and wants to keep him playing alongside him.

See your email.
