Yith, could you ask Joeri if she has a photo reference of street name signs and direction signs so I can mimic the typography.

Might be worth speaking to Rick van Nooij (Mr Flibble) too.

Doesn't "suppressing fire" sound different to "FFE" ?

Ta for the file Jay - tell you what. We'll play both and see how good our knowledgable players are and see if they notice the difference (I didn't LOL).

Isn't there a picture in that lot with those on?

I seem to remember seeing one with loads of signs on it.

While I remember, does the OC, Posters want some Dutch SS recruiting posters to put up? I've got some half-reasonable ones on the PC, and the new A3 colour printer at work needs breaking in

There is one - it has a load of repro temporary German military direction boards, I want to know what the regular street signage looks like - finger signs and wall street name signs.
If you have any books of Arnhem it might be in there - I would check the Arnhem DVD but you have got mine!

I now have the ID card images... and the mp3 files.

Id cards are here:
http://www.hab3045.nl/fotoalbum/requisieten/voorkant
and
http://www.hab3045.nl/fotoalbum/requisieten/binnenkant

It looks like these would be best printed out on thin card (or thick paper). The passport photo I've asked for would be put in the box marked Zegel. There are two slits to help placement, but I reckon some pritt stick would help! The Stempel box is for the finger print.

I'll explain the other parts in the DRW forum sometime...

Sounds good to me, but we need more than 10...

Do about 15...

If nothing else I'd like one for my collection ;)

(BTW click the images for more detail if you haven't aleady!)

They should be about 23cm x10xm in size

I've amended the photo instructions on the Dutch forum - if I get sent JPEGs then I can incorporate them directly into the card (The original didn't have the corner slots, the photo was sealed between the page so that the thumprint on the back of the photo showed through)

Just done a dummy card - looks good!

If I incorporate the photos in the artwork then they can have rubber stamps over 'em too (in artwork, no need to get stamps!)
