I assume it is 'right through' the night?

which is kind of interresting.

But, like the last time something like this was suggested, why do Bastogne? no only in the middle of the winter, but a campaign made famous for being cold and snowy. What is wrong with August? Nice warm August?

Just how "authentic" are these sleeping arrangements? I am happy (well, willing  ) to bed down in a pup tent in winter, but personally I would probably insist on a modern 4 season sleeping bag as I would need to get some sleep to be able to drive home safely on Sunday. I am not sure I am physically up to sleeping in a foxhole, regardless of season. I would have no problem with sacrificing trigger time & being in a rear echelon support unit at HQ , supply depot or hospital and not have to pick up my rifle all day.

Edit: And yes to echo Johnny, as a cetain degree of realism will have to be sacrificed (i.e. not real bullets/guns , fewer than a million troops etc.) how will regen / medic rules be handled?

i can confirm that i have been on some of this site and there's a pretty big trench and bunker system dug into the ground, ive never seen anything like it on an airsoft site. there was also a very large onsite, in game camping area with lots of fully erected period canvas tents.

Sounds interesting and, good value for money. Nice to see you're not focussing on trigger time. If I can get the time off from work, I'll be there.

It does indeed. I know Dean and Ranj have already 'raised an eyebrow'....

I have raised each of my eyebrows alternately but have now settled for both at the same time. Like what I'm hearing so far...

I too like what I am hearing very much, but am probably already booked for that weekend. Please don't take that as any lack of interest or desire to attend this or future events. It is solely a timetable clash.

Sounds really good, however I turn 30 on the last day of the game, and I doubt my wife will forgive me for spending most of it sat in a fox hole!

This sounds good to me, and somewhere less than two hours drive away is always attractive.

I'm up for it pending a diary check at home.

Cheers
