Breakout â€“ Mission brief and objectives.
The Allies must take control and clear this whole region by Sunday, so Artillery can be brought up to help the Breakout from Anzio and begin in Ernest the liberation of Italy and her release from the NAZI yoke. Our Battle is just one Section (21) of the region and is considered part of the main battle.
The opening scene will see a large force of British and US troops pushing out from their HQ and hitting ditches and hedge rows along the German line, with a spectacular visual of Smoke, Mortar and mobile support, facing AT guns, MG nests and the Elite Germans forces given this Section of the line to defend.
â€¢ Search and Destroy enemy AT emplaced guns to allow the mobile units to move freely
â€¢ Take control and command of Sections Black, Yellow and Green. Keep hold of them until Saturdays end EX
â€¢ Diffuse all mines along the roads and open fields.
â€¢ Choke the German re-enforcements from Sector Blue by setting up 2 MG positions at Charlie04.
â€¢ Hit and Run. Get an engineer to take out the German communications Transmitter located at Dog010, if this is done all Axis radio coms will be taken out.
â€¢ Push into sectors Blue and White taking out all the German CPs. Once this is done, the big push in Sector Red can begin and the final blow to force the Germans into retreat will commence.
â€¢ ENDEX at 5pm â€“ Either the Allies will have complete command of this whole Section or the German line will have resisted, allowing more Germans from other sections to escape if over run.
â€¢ Resist all attempts by the allies to clear sectors Black, Yellow and Green.
â€¢ Destroy as many Allied Vehicles as possible, each vehicle destroyed must park for 5 mins in the field whilst a smoke is released, the go back to the main Allied HQ for 20 mins before be allowed to rejoin the fight.
â€¢ Protect the Radio Comms station
â€¢ Prisoners â€“ are placed in any nearby controlled building for 10 mins before they can return to a CP or HQ to re-gen. Captured allies can be rescued with a count of 10 (BREAKING OF THEIR BONDS) by a fellow Allied soldier.
â€¢ Mines and traps can be laid anywhere across the field.
â€¢ Barbed wire fences can be stretch across roads and areas. Only an Engineer can cut them or mend them. NO SOLDIER OR VEHICAL CAN PASS THROUGH BARBED WIRE. We donâ€™t have anything other than light vehicles in site so please donâ€™t just drive through barbed wire.
â€¢ Resist all attempts by the allies to take Sectors Blue and white.
â€¢ Sectors Black and Yellow will be out of action to the Germans; however Green is still viable and must be contested, even recaptured.
â€¢ If all if lost, the final battle will be for Sector Red, Here is the German HQ and if lost a full retreat will be given out of Section 21.
I guess there will be another game after the 2pm endex on saturday or will that be it for the day?
I think it is a typo and Sat' ends at 5pm, Sunday as 2pm.

There's a Sunday written the chaps, just no return space to break the two days up in the allied section. Big someone can edit and add the return space that would be grand. I can't scroll down on edit when using my phone.
Will there be designated engineers then?
How is this going to work - a designated section or one or two per section?
I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.
