The German OKW has had enough of the cowardly partisans in the Narocz Forrest.
A small group of Bandits has been found , These have been stealing from the local populace and german supply lines.
Hauptman Muller, has commandeered a small group of troops from various units, from a troop train that was taking them home on leave.
Whilst morale was initally low, a good rousing speech , and the threat of the firing squad has motivated the men. Also a promise of leave to be resumed after the operation, has emboldened then men.
Men from the Whermacht, SS, Luftwaffe and supply units , have been armed, equiped and sent to the area , with orders to liquidate the terrorist scum.
The local populace are activly support the "Freedom Fighters" in the forrest, they are a mix of russain soldiers, civilian fighters and bandits. They are heavily armed, and skillfull.
