you only get the one pair of eyes that you'r parents gave you so eye protection is just an accepted evil.

armoury
m1a1 Thompson,sten mk2,mp40,stg44,sterling,mk2 bren gun,lee Enfield no4 mk1,Mauser Kar98, Walther ppk,smith and Weston m10 and Mauser m712
Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

Absolutely!

Though the clear framed glasses that a lot of you wear, aren't quite as in yer face.

Hi All,

Just like to say thanks for a cracking day! It was my first ww2 airsoft event, and it was absolutely brilliant. Thanks to all who ran it, and those who took part :)

Definitely be along with Dave and Steve to another one :)

Cheers,
Pete

glad you had a good time , did not realise you guys were from sheffield , been from sheffield I would have made you take the Blades or the Owls test  one answer gets you shot in the back one gets you praise :giggle:

Our next game in August we have now increased the numbers due to Demand and its a huge site lol

Gareth when i see you next if you want to try a pair of my sawflys which are the glasses i wear, you most welcome as i have 3 sets clear /yellow and black as way to lazy to change lenses,

and is it the part that is below gareth if so its the mosfet and they can be bought from fire support http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/i ... -and-wires-- attachment is not available --

I was looking at the Sawfly glasses; may have to take you up on that offer as they look good!

I've found a site with a parts breakdown of the gun. It looks like the part is the fuse. I'll have a crack at it next week.

The Bins i wear are just standard safety glasses from work, they can take BB's no problem as i've proved on a depressingly regular basis! i've left a couple of spare pairs at Fireball if anyone wants to try 'em out...

Well I've got the Garand firing again. The connectors to the motor had become loose

Now the new problem is that she's double firing, despite my best efforts to get it to reset. So one problem solved, another created.

Can confirm that the 3M's that Glyn chucked my way at Av have been perfect on just the washing up treatment every game morning. No fog even when wearing a helmet and a good wrap around - proven good for planing doorframes too.

I'll grab some more and leave 'em at Fireball for anyone who wants 'em since they get the coveted JG seal!
