Just a note to say thanks for the support today. A simple but effective game with plenty of action.
Well done to the allies for achieving all objectives and good work Germans for making them take so long to do it.
Hope to see you all soon.
Thanks for making it a great day! Had lots of fun with particular highlights being our attack on the British team in the long grass and the bunker defence at the end.
Thanks to my fellow Germans for taking me under your wing today, especially since I got lost in the first game and stacked it face first in a bramble and stinging nettle bush
P. S. I'm a british spy! Honest!
Regards,
Ralph
Yes thank for a good day, some very mean firefights, the German attack through the long grass was very good, thanks to my German comrades for some good battle cohesion, and to the allies for being "jolly good sports"
Thanks, a very enjoyable day out (apart form the drive home in all the Silverstone traffic and pelting rain!).
Just goes to show you don't need huge numbers for a good game, and it was very interesting to see bits of Grafton Park I'd not been to before. I think once we'd figured out where we were, both the morning and afternoon sessions were great fun. I thought the delaying action in the morning worked very well, with the Allies constantly trying to find our flank in the difficult terrain and the battle around the farm went on far longer than I had imagined possible. In the afternoon we suspected the British had got lost when they appeared at the bottom of the that huge field? Again, once they'd figured out where we were, they rolled up the bunkers and pylon very effectively.
Particular highlights for me were the morning fighting in the woods once we'd settled down to fighting over the tracks, and the 'battle of the cornfield' in the afternoon - which looked just like period photos of Normandy. I also enjoyed the sniper dual with the two
bolt action wielding Brits around the bunker vs my semi-auto G43, two dings to the helmet ended that fairly decisively
Hats off to the Allies for keeping up the pressure on a hot and humid day in very dense terrain, and thanks to my German comrades for working so well together as a team.
Cheers
Martin

I'm tired ,very very tired ! This usually means I've been running aground like an idiot in the woods ! The Germans put up a stiff fight all day and we had to push hard to gain every inch . Very challenging terrain and weather with infinite cover for defences made spotting the Germans very hard .
It was a good day of close in fighting ,I don't think I ever saw so many BB wounds to the face in any game .
Thank you all for a good day.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well
Thanks to Tony for organising. Good fun.
The fight for the field was far and away THE moment of the game. We moved out in an extended line through the long grass as initially we didn't have a clue where the Germans were. Then Steve spotted movement in the tree line ahead of us and all Hell let loose. It descended into a half an hour fire fight through the long grass, which culminated in a spirited German counter attack. Most of us were cut down, but not before we'd had 'one of those moments' that we do WW2 Airsoft for.
Weather was tough going but everyone made a real effort.
The only real criticism regarded one German gun that felt extremely hot. None of us were able to I.D who it was as we hardly ever saw you with the dense cover. If someone did turn up with a hot gun and took advantage of the nature of WW2 airsoft and the absence of a chrono, I think that's extremely disappointing.
Otherwise, good stuff.
Brlliant day, thank you every body that was involved, like Dadio said spoilt by long trek home on clogged motorway. Thanks again
Colin
Great day,thanks to everybody involved.
