I have to say I was worried about low numbers. However it turned out to be a superb day of airsoft action. Both sides had a full on time with plenty of action.
Having the motor bike and side car bombing around added to the atmosphere as did my mortar barrage.
I would like to thank all the guys who came along and made what was a great day of squad based combat almost hand to hand at times.
I have not had so much fun as this for ages.
Cheers all for your help and support for what was an honest and action packed day. With lovely weather.
Hopefully we will run another game later in the year.

Thanks for today, I really enjoyed it as did most of my friends too. I would say it was the best WW2 event I've been to so far.
Total excellent day all round ,mortar fire was long range and accurate too.
Great site ,a real ww2 historic site makes it extra special.
My dad was born in kettering and was 12 at the end of the war,he used to cycle out to that base and get as near as he could to the airfield.
Are you going to post the photos that you took today on this page? I'd love to see them, thanks.
so so jealous - not sure how to get out of these night shifts and still afford it but will have to see.
I'll have to work out how to put the pics up lol
Great day, Tony . Thanks very much for organising it. We all had a great day and it was cool for us to be split amongst the allies and German sides. The weather was awesome , the mortar rounds were impressive and the effort to get the bike running good on Friday was well worth it. Cracking day. The germans played well all day and we never really got the better of them though we did hold out pretty well for quite a few of the games.

Cool mate
Let me know the dates you can't do in September
Great day!
The tommies may not have been able to stop us in the end but the brambles/thorns had a damn good go Think I've finally got them all out and the pliers can go back in the toolbox.
