Following a lot of tough fighting the German forces finally a
Captured the fuel depot. The allied forces fought very hard to stop the German steamroller.
The battles were a real grenade fest with plenty of close up fighting.
I would like to thank all the participants of this game, it was played fairly and with good spirit. I hope every one enjoyed themselves.
We at close action look forward to hosting another game in the new year.

I would welcome any feedback here to improve things even more next time.
Merry Christmas

Tony

Thanks for a great day, really liked the battle for the farm. I have never used so many grenades.
Would of liked a 30 mins break to recover from all that walking and have some food.

Awesome day Tony, thanks for all of the effort you and the Close Action guys put it. we really enjoyed the battles , the US guys put up a great fight even though they were outnumbered. Assaulting a building across an open field seemed a good idea until we all lay in a heap!

Had a good day today, really enjoyed how well the site worked! The mass charge was stunning and gave me a few seconds pause to admire the spectacle before i began the business of hosing you down. Made a novel change to be on the defensive although lugging the kit from place to place nearly had me on my knees near the end!
Would definitely go again and thanks for the effort the organisers put in.

Those hand made grenades are impressive. We need an hand cart per side to lug all our gear around, I am so tired now.

Well the dust has settled and my hearing has now come back! Good site with lots of potential and it certainly was a good day to be out in the woods reppeling German waves of attackers. The 34th seemed to bear the brunt of the war damage, bloodied noses and all. Quite a unique day. Was a good day and great fun.

Looking forward to seeing all the photos, and good to meet some new entrants to the hobby.

Sniper Bb between the eyes in the last 5 minutes of the game, pout me on my arse and my head next to an enemy grenade...
Still,i had laughed at Jed and Snip's 'Rudolph' injuries earlier. There's a moral here somewhere...-- attachment is not available --

Really enjoyed myself, big thanks to all involved. Will make sure I sort my rifle out before the game starts next time, might actually hit something that way! :D

Wake up there, Muttley, you're dreaming again!

I would prefer the number of snipers to be limited to one per section next time, we did receive a lot of painful face hits, it was the bloodiest game I have ever played. Fortunately my good looks remained intact.

Looking forward to seeing the pics
