I just thought it mught be nice to have a chat about what guns will be being brought along... so we can plan for the 10 MG42's turning up or whatever... heh...

Maybe also a quick description of your uniform would be good as well?

------------

I'll be bringing my Thompson M1928A1 (full wood) and my SMLE No4 Mk1, which one I use at any time will probably depend on how I feel and what the scenario is...

I'll also have my Colt Python 4" (ahem I mean Webley) with me...

I'll have both officer and other ranks webbing... My BDs will probably be badged up as a 2nd lieutenant of the Royal Scots Fusiliers, 5th (Yorkshire) Division.

KTW Arisaka type38 M1905
Walther PPK

Will be in Ruski gear, loosly based on some British actor that played a Russian ;) So Im guessing not much accuracy in the loadout but still it looks the part at least.

Trap.

Black boiler suit is perfect matey, Panzer division needs you!

Can't be stressed enough, there are quite a few who are obsessed/rolling in cash/played for years/re-enactors ( ) which is all well and good. What we really need are players like you, who want to get into the spirit of WW2.

General note:
To those out there any or all the gear who might be put off playing - no one, but no one will judge you or snigger behind your back or otherwise look down on you. Good on you for making the effort - the more players in whatever level of kit, the better the game.

Right-on Chomley!

I must add though if you turn up in DPM and a blackhawk vest, we'll tell you where to go! ;)

Unless you speak perfect German !

CW's right though , we welcome anyone prepared to make an effort , and recognise it's a lot of expense for only a few events a year ( something we're looking to change!) hece build up slowely .

Quite often it's simple things like a £5 helmet that go a long way to achiving an impression .

Though in that case I'll be asking you to remove the vest and dpm and taking you down to the shops to buy a nice black boiler suit... and lending you a canvass bag for your stuff to go in! :)

Evening all,

I will be sporting a rather fasionable 101st loadout, complete with mud.
My brother should he attend, i bloody hope so :D : a basic but effective German Wermacht loadout and he'll be using either my Kar98 or a captured Thompson

And for this season we will be bringing:

M1 Garand,
M1 Garand,
Thompson,
Thompson, (not mine)
Kar98
M1911a1
M1911a1

God bless airsoft :)

Nick

Sounds good...

I don't think we'll need the hire guns as nobody has booked in for hire yet... F&O has several AKs that'll do nicely.

I'll let you know though if we do need some!

Cheers!

Regarding the title of this thread.......

Two 107mm mortars ...........they were going to be 81mm but apparantely there's less call for that calibre of pipe at B&Q so 107s it is .

Want to call in some direct fire artillery ?, you'll be needing a mortar then

Piccies soon ................
