Would F&O have any problems if we had a proffesional pyro guy there? - the reason I ask is that through AI and Re-enacting I'm in contact with Tony from TLSFX. If you've been to Beltring, then you know the kind of stuff he *can* put on (arty barrages etc etc). Even if it added a fiver per person to the cost of the event, it would make one hell of a contribution to the atmosphere.

Think of it........... German troops have to capture a fuel dump to allow continued progress of the Panzers, whilst the Allied side have to destroy it before its over run. Except, with TLSFX doing it, it would *really* look like somone has blown the POL dump sky high

I still have nightmares about the Barrage he put in at Black Ops airsoft for us, and some of the stuff he did at Longmoor was truly awesome, and I must admit, im rather partial to his BB stick grenades as well :)

Will certainly have a word at our F&O meeting on the 14th. TLSFX did the TA3 as well, didn't they?

Bangs and smoke are always good - the Major at F&O is a qualified pyro guy so will check out what he can come up with and broach the subject about a third party. Need to cover issues of what is allowed at the site noise-wise too (we seem to make plenty of noise there as it is, so doubt if it's too much of a problem - there is a bit of difference between a few Mk9's and WW2 though  ).

Wel, it's miles from anywhere so noise shouldn't be much of a problem, unless some lesser spotted splinge moths are mating in the field nextdoor.....

Forestry Commission might be concerned about disturbing the doggers - no one else seems to be bothered!

Here's a question - can we pre-order Pyro for the event? Money up front if required. I'm pretty sure that i speak not only for myself but other Axis plyers when i say that Stick grenades (either TLSFX or Enola Gaye) would go down rather well!

I had a chat with Gucci today and he won't be able to get any stick grenades for us. He will only have Mk5s and ball grenades.

If you want to use stick grenades then he says thats fine, but you'll need to buy your own.

Note that homemade pyro will not be allowed so you have to get commercially made ones.

Sorry!
