OK chaps, here's the how it stands with all the pyro and mortar bits included in the finances.

On paper Herbstnebel has made a loss, which was kinda obviously going to happen when we decided to give away a feck load of pyro!!

We've spent £596.49 on pyro alone this game!!!! Mind you, not all of it will be used.....probably!

With the capital purchases we've also made (mortar modification and det box) that put our kitty at: £183.97 (Pending further bookings)

Dave, what sort of money are we looking at for the signage? :?

No cost for signage - all field painted signs using scrap wood and paint!

Thanks for the update Steve.

Couple of points, if I may.

Wotan 2 wont require much in the way of expensive props. It would be nice to walk out of that event with a couple of hundred quid in hand to put towards some bigger stuff later in the year. Likewise, Guy's suggested E&E game will require basically bugger all expenditure on props as well.

I suppose I'm saying that it might be an idea to form a definitive list of items we'd like to buy/build for future events.

Your thoughts, gentlemen?

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

I'm not sure if I can think of anything we need.
Except maybe another mortar if it turns out to be a success in a couple of weeks (I don't mean if it works, I mean if it gets used usefully!).

My thoughts exactly Jay. I was figuring Wotan II would be a cheap on for us, so we should up the margins a little there.

One thing I'd like us to consider if finances allow is a token gesture of petrol expense for attendance at games. I only mean for petrol only, not wear an tear. My car currently costs around 10p per mile to run. Thoughts?

I'm not sure about petrol costs to attend games but I have spent a small fortune on petrol for recce trips over the past two years!

Hi guys

Sorry about this, made a slight error by including Jay's mortar costs in our liabilities AND removing that amount from the £185 that Guy currently 'holds' so our kitty is £92 more that I thought.

Adjusted accounts attached. One day I'll get the hang of this. Let me know if you're at all confused!

My thoughts ...take no money personally from the kitty ..ever . Keeps it very clean and simple .

It's crossing a line in my mind ...mind you........ I do earn fecking £000's ......hahahahahha! 8)

Jay will sort you out after Xmas if ok with you , otherwise tell me next time we speak .

My thoughts are that if we were to reimburse with wear and tear (eg work pay be 40p per mile) then we would be crossing the line, but reimbursement for costs related to game planning is no different to reimbursement for other expenses. No worries if the majority think it's a step too far, it just means that I'll continue to have to draw a line on attending recces if it means I can't pay the bills. :ghey:
