My fellow Americans.
It's time to let your light shine! We're heading to the hills and forests of mid-Italy. Kinda reminds me of folk's place back in Pennsylvania.
Anyhoo, time to let us know your skills and weapons experience.
Please let me know whether you're specialisms include airborne or infantry and what weapons you're using. I'm specifically looking for volunteers for some undercover activities as well as a mortar team.
I'll be using my trusty Thompson, issued to me new when I joined the 82nd Airborne, and throwing plenty of lead at the Krauts.
It'll be good to get to know some new faces and see if we can show the Brits how it's done!
I'll be going as generic leg infantry with unbadged M41, etc. I'll be using my Garand unless it decides to stop working (it often has done in the past, but I think it's fixed now). If it fails I'll move to my tommy gun or maybe my carbine.
I'm not too bothered about "undercover activities", but would be happy to man the mortar if needed.
Ill be going unbadge leg infantry will be using my M1 and would like to volunteer for undercover missions

Heh, no-one said we were keeping Brits and Yanks separate. There's a very good chance you'll be fighting side-by-side.
hi will be US 29th m41 jacket ,thompson and jeep cap or helmet see on the day
rich
Don't know how 101st/502PIR ended up in Italy but hey ho, blame the transport!
Will be rocking my Thompson, in the unlikely eventuality that it malfunctions, I've already "acquired" an MP40.
Previous experience tends to a lot of recce'/scouting, so I'd be happy with that...
"I was fabulous, and it was a bloody good laugh."
Folks!
I'm looking for one or two American players with solid experience of squad leadership to act as my second in command at squad level for this event.
You'll need to be physically able, tactically minded and not be afraid to bark a few orders at people.
As you'll be getting a bit more information than other players, the ability to suspend your disbelief and act in the interests of the organisers is needed.
Fit , switched on and committed you maybe waiting some time Ami
Yers just cannon fodder ...admit it .
