I've had some interest in the game from non-airsofters (i.e. WW2 re-enactors) and this opens up the whole thing about hire guns...

Gucci has a few...

I have AK74M's, M4's, G36's AK47spez's, 1 M14, might have 1 Thompson if I can fix it, yes the outer barrel bit broke, what a surprise-lol

Some of those are defuinately useful... I'm thinking the Aks and the M14... the Thompson should be able to be fixed for the event by the use of one of Steve's fixing kits... I have one spare even if he doesn't...

But... can anyone else offer anything? The only thing I'd offer is an M15A4 carbine thats been mouldering in the back of a cupboard as all my other guns are too precious to me!

If you have something to offer then thats great... but I don't expect it by any means!

I won't be lending any of mine I'm afraid - don't mind helping a mate out if his gun goes down in a game but rule out anyone else!

Perhaps you could get them to a skirmish before the event - get 'em hooked and they will buy their own guns!

Lil concerned about having lots of newbies at a "premier event"

It would be a shame to have this spoiled by a bunch of people not understanding the game, not taking hits, generally being newbie nobbers etc .

yup... maybe... but in a small game we'll be okay. I will make sure we are and so will Gucci! and anyway they'll be re-enactors!!

F&O is of such a small size that cheats don't get away with it for long and we should have enough experienced airsofters to keep the rabble in line... hehe!

Having people turn up in spot on gear will make up for one idiot being slow with hits...

Anyway its unlikely that there'll be a lot of newbs...
